Wackett aircraft

This section comprises some Wills collection material on two Wackett aircraft, 1925-30: There is more under A-14, second series (Tugan Gannet).

The Wackett Widgeon; 1925. It sank in Botany Bay on Wednesday July 8, 1925, with Colonel Brinsmead, Controller of Civil Aviation aboard. Widgeon II, 1930: Crashed in Port Phillip Bat January 6 1930, killing Captain Hugh Grosvenor, ADC to the Governor of South Australia, Flight-Lieutenant F A Briggs and mechanic Leading Aircraftman Ewen.
