Wills collection – bound volumes

These are photocopied and bound in hard cover, to an excellent standard, by Bob Wills
and are a tiny fraction of his collection.

The extract on the left is from
the log book of T S Drake-Brockman
later an Australian Senator.

The log books are records of airmen, trained during the interwar period, at Point Cook.
The originals would be in the possession of the airmen’s families, with copies at Point Cook.
Some, such as Ron Cornfoot, had remarkable careers in peace and war; he is featured in
John Balfe’s book War Without Glory, Macmillan, Melbourne, 1984.

We are uncertain of the ‘significance’ of this subcollection.
